Euro Storm
The Euro Storm is a two-section vertical tillage tool for farms that have to get down narrow roads. It does the work of a high-speed disc or of true vertical tillage depending on where you set the toolbar, and the angle moves on hydraulics from 0Β° to 14Β° while you drive. Three sizes: 13', 16' and 20', for tractors from 130+ HP.
What it does in the field
At 0Β° the coulters cut straight through residue and leave the surface close to how they found it. Open the toolbar up and the blades start moving soil, mixing trash and levelling. It fills ruts up to 16 inches deep in a single pass, and it handles heavy residue including corn stalks and bean trash. Blade spacing is 10", which gives a 5" effective cut across the full width.
Blades and suspension
Every blade is suspended on its own with coil spring protection, so a rock lifts one coulter and the rest keep cutting. There are no gang bolts: a blade comes off on its own without pulling a whole gang apart, which is the difference between a field repair and an afternoon. Bearings are standard parts you can get from a local dealer, not a proprietary number you wait on.
Baskets and harrow
Hydraulic rear baskets break clods and level behind the blades, adjustable from the cab. A 2-row tine harrow runs 5" tine spacing, and a 5-row runs 2" for a finer finish. Both spread residue rather than rowing it up.
Frame and transport
The frame is 2 sections of reinforced steel tubing. The 13' and 16' fold to 9' - 8" wide and the 20' to 11' - 2", which is what makes this machine legal where a wider tool is not. Transport length is 29' - 3", the 20' stands 13' - 8" high folded, and hitch length is 12' - 7".
Hookup and horsepower
130+ HP on the 13', 160+ on the 16' and 200+ on the 20'. Four hydraulic ports and 10 GPM (38 LPM) at 1800 PSI. Tires are 320/70R15 12.5L. The machine is mostly mechanical, with very little electronics to fail or to tie into your tractor.

130+ HP for the 13', 160+ for the 16' and 200+ for the 20'. Four hydraulic ports and 10 GPM (38 LPM) at 1800 PSI. Nothing electronic has to be tied into the tractor.
Same 0Β°-14Β° hydraulic toolbar and the same 10" blade spacing, but the Euro Storm is a 2-section frame built to fold narrow: 9' - 8" on the 13' and 16'. The Storm goes up to 40 ft and 3 sections where road width is not the limit.
Each blade has its own suspension with coil spring protection, so a stone lifts one coulter and drops it back. With no gang bolts, a damaged blade comes off by itself instead of taking a whole gang apart.
Corn stalks and bean trash are what it is for. At 10" spacing the blades give a 5" effective cut, the baskets break the clods behind them and the tine harrow spreads what is left. Ruts up to 16 inches deep fill in a single pass.
9' - 8" on the 13' and the 16', 11' - 2" on the 20'. Transport length is 29' - 3" and the 20' stands 13' - 8" high folded.
